“I wanted to sell my property in order to raise the capital
to buy abroad and as my new job comes with accommodation it was
the perfect time to do it. I hadn’t sold privately before but
when I saw an article in the national press about DIY house
sales which featured HouseWeb I thought I'd give it a try as I
was in no rush.
There had also been an article in WHICH? Magazine which gave

an advert which I must say was easy - peasy - no problems!
I didn’t bother getting an estate agent to do a valuation,
as it was easy enough to check out the local market myself.
Things moved quickly and I had a buyer in hand within about 4
weeks and probably saved about £1.5 to £2K
I would recommend anyone thinking of selling property to try
